How does billing work?

Plans are billed monthly or yearly, with automatic renewal, and you can cancel at any time.

Annual subscriptions cost ten months' fees for twelve: Pro saves USD 38 a year, Business saves USD 98 a year, and Legal saves USD 238 a year.

We accept major credit and debit cards. Payment terms for Enterprise accounts are agreed with you.

What happens to my minutes if I don't use them all in a month?

Minutes are allocated per month and do not roll over to the next billing cycle. Each month, your minute balance resets to your plan's allocation.

For example, if you have the Pro plan with 1,500 minutes/month and only use 800 minutes, the remaining 700 minutes do not carry forward to the next month.

If you consistently need more minutes, consider upgrading to a higher tier plan.

Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan?

Yes, you can change your plan at any time. When upgrading, you get the new plan's features and minute allocation straight away.

When downgrading, changes typically take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.

Your unused minutes from the current plan do not transfer when changing plans.

What is the maximum recording length for each plan?

• Free Plan: 30 minutes max per recording

• Legal Plan: 4 hours max per recording
• Enterprise Plan: agreed with your organisation

Which languages does JustScribe transcribe?

English. Recordings in other languages, or that switch between languages, aren't supported yet.

How does JustScribe AI handle confidential client conversations?

Recordings and transcripts are encrypted in transit and at rest, and they are not used to train AI models. You control who in your workspace can see them, and you can turn on redaction of personal details. Whether privilege attaches to a conversation is a matter for you to assess.

Does JustScribe AI train its AI models on my case files or transcripts?

No. Under our zero-training policy, your recordings, transcripts and summaries are not used to train AI models.

Can JustScribe AI transcribe legal citations, Latin terms, and case names?

Add case names, citations and phrases such as inter alia, de novo and certiorari to your custom vocabulary, on the Business and Legal plans, so they are transcribed as you write them.

Where is my data stored, and how long is it kept?

Data is stored in Singapore. It is held in secure databases and encrypted in transit and at rest. How long it is kept is set out in our Customer Data Retention Policy. Deleting a recording or transcript removes it from your workspace; to have it erased from our systems, email privacy@vanguardxai.com.

Can I use JustScribe to record a court hearing?

No. Court hearings can't be recorded without the court's permission. Use the court's official transcript service for hearings, and JustScribe for client meetings, consultations, interviews and internal calls.

How does JustScribe AI approach data protection law?

JustScribe AI is built with GDPR, PDPA and CCPA in mind, including redaction of personal details and a zero-training policy.

Can I get transcripts into our own systems?

Yes. Download transcripts and summaries as Word, PDF or text files.
